Tynor Foot Drop Splint is a low-profile orthotic designed to prevent plantar-flexion and maintain the foot in a functional dorsiflexed position during walking. The anatomically-moulded dorsal shell (polypropylene) with a built-in leaf-spring action arrests unwanted plantar flexion and lifts the foot during the swing phase, helping toe clearance and reducing the plantar-flexion impact during early stance. Comfortable hook-and-loop straps secure the splint to the foot and calf; the D-43 variant includes a cushioned liner for extra comfort. Suitable for neurological foot-drop, peripheral nerve palsy and post-operative support.
